Michelle McClymont has over 16 years experience in business development and client relations in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Ms. McClymont has shown true dedication and passion for improving her community by assisting entrepreneurs and managing small business development.

In her prior role, as Senior Account Manager at New York City Business Solutions, Ms. McClymont diligently worked with small businesses to ensure growth and success. She placed a key focus on assisting business owners with recruitment and training of employees. In as little as two years, Ms. McClymont used her expertise and guidance to successfully help small business owners train, hire and retain over 1,500 employees.

A testament to her experience and professional skills, Ms. McClymont is the current Executive Director of the Flatbush Nostrand Junction Business Improvement District (The Junction BID). Today she plays a vital, intricate role in transforming the look and feel of the Flatbush Nostrand Junction District. Ms. McClymont’s dedication, drive and expertise in neighborhood development and small business enables her to keep her focus and vision on managing capital improvement projects which better serve her community.

Her continuous mission is to attract and retain sustainable and diverse businesses to her district in Brooklyn. Ms. McClymont’s greatest passion is to ensure that small business owners are always recognized for their contribution in community development – helping to keep those communities vibrant and aware of their roles in economic growth.

Ms. McClymont is a graduate of the CORO Neighborhood Leadership program and has received several accolades for her achievements as they relate to economic development.
