Senator Jesse Hamilton Hosts Back to School Celebration and School Supply Giveaway with Community Groups, Partners

Cotton candy, balloons, and a bouncy castle at our great “Back to School Celebration and School Supply Giveaway” this past Saturday. All of our partners and volunteers really delivered so we could distribute more than 600 backpacks with school supplies.

Special thanks to Save our Streets Crown Heights, Uncommon Schools, and Redemption, Inc. Thanks as well to partners First American International Bank, Forest City Ratner Companies, Green Earth Poets Café, Health First, Kings Plaza, Local 372, Madison Square Garden, MetroPlus, and Popular Community Bank - and everyone who helped bring important information or fun activities to Kingston Avenue on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Really, thanks everyone who joined us and made the event a such a success!
