Sen Squadron Joins 9 Precincts for National Night Out Against Crime

26TH DISTRICT – State Senator Daniel Squadron presented New York Police Department (NYPD) precincts, community councils, and community members throughout his district with Senate proclamations for the 33rd annual National Night Out Against Crime. National Night Out, an annual campaign held nationwide, seeks to strengthen community relationships.
“National Night Out is a great opportunity for the police and communities to come together,” said State Senator Daniel Squadron. “Our communities, neighborhoods, and law enforcement depend on partnerships to be safer and work better. I thank our commanding officers, NYPD personnel, community councils, and community members.”
Squadron attended National Night Out events at the 1st, 5th, 7th, 9th, 76th, 84th, 90th, and 94th Precincts, as well as Transit District 2 and Police Service Area 4. Squadron’s office also presented proclamations to the 6th Precinct and Transit District 30. Photos from each event can be viewed below.
