Happy Earth Day!

April 22, 2016
This year, Earth Day takes on special significance because 171 countries sign the Paris Agreement on climate change today. Acting globally, a historic number of countries have signaled their commitment to tackling the challenge climate change represents. And now acting locally, we should rededicate ourselves to taking the steps we can to preserve our planet.
We should act together to fostering environmentally friendly habits – steps as simple as grocery shopping with reusable bags, making the switch to energy efficient light bulbs, or installing proper insulation in our homes. Through commonsense steps and through collective action, we can fulfill our obligation and make our world livable for generations to come.
