'Manufacturing Summit' held at Corning-Painted Post High School ~ 'Manufacturing is coming back to America' (UPDATED, July 28: 'O'Mara calls for less energy regulation')

Without question we need to continue taking aggressive actions -- tax relief, regulatory reform, reducing energy costs, workforce development and more -- to maintain, strengthen and grow our manufacturing sector for the future.

Senator O'Mara attended Congressman Tom Reed's 2nd Annual "Manufacturing Summit" at the Corning-Painted Post High School.

The summit brought together regional manufacturers and business leaders to examine key challenges and issues, including business and workforce development, manufacturing technologies, public policy and public-private partnerships to promote growth and a revitalization of the Southern Tier's manufacturing industry.
