The Legislature's fiscal committees begin a series of public hearings this week on Governor Andrew Cuomo's 2018-2019 proposed New York State budget.

The hearings will continue weekly until the middle of February.

Tuesday's Topic: Higher Education, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
