State Sen. Mannion hosts veterans resource fair in Camillus

CAMILLUS - NY — State Sen. John Mannion hosted a veterans resource fair in Camillus, on Saturday.

The fair was aimed at providing service members and their families with the resources available to them including, future employment opportunities, housing, medical, and other services.

"Coming out and having these kinds of events reminds people that veterans are out here and need help," said Darius Talandis, a veterans benefits advisor with the New York State Department of Veteran Services.

The free event took place at the Camillus Fire Department, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bob Young, a former Army Veteran we spoke with expressed his gratitude.
