Golden Honors Business For Hurricane Relief Efforts

State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, 22nd District) presented New York State Certificates of Achievement to the employees of Peggy O’Neills in Coney Island, James Quigley the Manager and Janice Higgins an employee for their outstanding citizenship to those in need during the devastation from the Tsunami and Hurricane Katrina. In total, over $6,000 was raised by these individuals combined for both relief efforts.

Golden told both James and Janice that they embody the spirit of the community, a community that so graciously responded to the needs of the victims of the Tsumani and both Hurricane Rita and Katrina.
