Senator Golden Seeks Community Assistance In Improving Quality Of Life Of Neighborhood

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden (R-C, 22nd District) is announcing that he is seeking the input and assistance of community residents to improve the quality of life of the neighborhood. Senator Golden is specifically urging residents to contact him and report potholes and locations where graffiti is present along local commercial strips.

Senator Marty Golden’s staff has already began to seek out locations where either a pothole or graffiti exists, but the input of the community will be extremely beneficial to ensuring that areas of concern will be addressed. Senator Marty Golden will then compile a complete list of neighborhood potholes and present them to the Street Maintenance Division of the New York City Department of Transportation. Locations in the neighborhood that currently feature graffiti will be reported to the Mayor’s Community Assistance Unit Anti-Graffiti Task Force.

"As the summer months are upon us, the most active and enjoyable times, I wish to ensure that this community is in top shape for all residents to enjoy. Year-round, we must remain diligent in our efforts to keep this the greatest community in the City of New York. By reporting potholes and graffiti, neighbors will show their pride in this neighborhood, and with attention, we can continue to live in a treasured community," said Senator Golden.

Senator Golden is also working with the graffiti officers at the local precincts to coordinate the locations that need to be cleaned and painted.
