Senator Dale M. Volker Secures $25,000 For York Central School District

(Albany, NY) Senator Dale M. Volker (R-I-C, Depew) today announced that he has secured $25,000 for the York Central School District within the adopted 2005-2006 New York State Budget. This funding will assist the York Central School District with their efforts to expand security enhancements, improvements to summer school academic intervention services, expansion of their computer technology program and a new teacher mentoring program.

"The York Central School District provides an outstanding primary education to our children and the need to continue to invest in our school district is necessary to continue the major educational strides taking place," said Senator Dale M. Volker. "Superintendent Manko, along with administrators and educational professionals working in the York Central School District have been bringing innovative programs which have been proven to improve scores and instill a positive influence for our young people. I am pleased to have secured these additional funds to support the school district’s programs to assist our children real their personal and professional goals."

Senator Volker has been a tremendous supporter of securing additional state funding for our school district in order to complement our educational programs and services that have a been extremely successful.
