Senator Young Announces Annual Mother's Day Mammography Campaign

State Senator Catharine "Cathy" Young (R,I,C Olean) has joined the campaign to encourage women to get annual mammograms. She joined other legislators, television and print media in announcing that Mother's Day will be the jumping off point for this annual campaign to combat breast cancer.

"This is such an important program for all women to take part in. Experts say that early detection is the best tool we have to fight breast cancer. Many women are afraid to get a mammogram to see if they may have breast cancer, even though approximately 95% turn out to be normal."
