Senator Fuschillo And Town Clerk Bonilla Speak To Students At De La Salle School In Freeport

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) and Town of Hempstead Clerk Mark Bonilla recently visited the De La Salle school in Freeport to speak with eighth grade students about government.

The two elected officials each explained what the responsibilities of their respective jobs are, and what the differences are between state and local government. Senator Fuschillo also explained the process of how a bill becomes a law.

Afterwards, Senator Fuschillo and Town Clerk Bonilla answered questions from the students.

"I really enjoyed having the opportunity to visit with these kids and explain to them how their government works," said Senator Fuschillo.
