Senator Bonacic Joins Supervisor Wilbur To Visit Woodstock Artists Association And Museum

John J. Bonacic

State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/I/C - Mount Hope) met with Woodstock Supervisor Jeremy Wilbur yesterday. Both visited the Woodstock Artists Association and Museum (WAAM). The Association is the oldest artists organization of its kind in America.

Since its beginnings in 1920, the WAAM has been committed to exhibiting and collecting work in all media by area artists and supporting the tradition of Woodstock as the "Colony of the Arts".

"Not only is our region rich in beauty because of our geographic landscape, but rich in art and culture, as well--thanks to organizations such as the Woodstock Artists Association and Museum, stated Senator Bonacic. "WAAM serves to remind us of the importance of the creativity, originality and beauty of the people in our communities through their own works of art."
