Senator Flanagan Remembers Our Veterans And Salutes Our Current Day Heroes

Senator John J. Flanagan (2nd Senate District) joined veterans from the Centereach area on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend as they honored those America has lost. Senator Flanagan broke from the parade route to acknowledge a Suffolk County police officer in the parade as reminder that heroes are working to protect our way of life both overseas and here at home.

"The fine men and women who fought to provide us our way of life, especially those we have lost, must be remembered every day. They sacrificed so we could enjoy all that our great nation has to offer. Along with that, we must remember to thank those that are protecting our lives and our freedoms all across the nation and right here at home," stated Senator Flanagan.
