Senator Joe Robach Announces Carolyn Stiffler As A Nys Senate "woman Of Distinction"
Senator Joe Robach today announced that Carolyn Stiffler of Greece has been selected as a 2006 NYS Senate "Woman of Distinction". She will be honored today at a ceremony in Albany.
"I am proud to honor Carolyn Stiffler as a Woman of Distinction and prouder still of the recognition she has earned from her neighbors, colleagues and friends for her achievements on behalf of our community," said Senator Robach.
Carolyn currently resides in the Town of Greece and has been bringing Homes and Families together since 1989. She owns and operates a full service family owned Real Estate Company known as Carolyn Stiffler Realty.
"Daring to be Different" and her strong community involvement includes being a member of the Greece Chamber of Commerce since 1993. In January 2005, she was awarded the Chamber’s Business of the Month award for her dedication and support to the community. In 2006, Carolyn was chosen as the Chamber’s Business Person of the Year. Carolyn is also the co-founder of the Greece A-Team chapter of Business Networking International that has helped to provide over 7,000 business opportunities to people in the community from December 1999 to June 2006.
"Carolyn is one of those success stories that we can proudly share with our daughters, sisters, and neighbors and who will serve as an example for achievement and excellence for our entire community," stated Senator Robach. He continued "Her name now joins that of other women whose accomplishments, sacrifices and deeds on behalf of others are deserving of special honor."
The Senate’s "Woman of Distinction" program was created in 1998 to honor New York women who exemplify personal excellence, or whose professional achievements or acts of courage, selflessness, integrity or perseverance serve as an example to all New Yorkers.
