The program will feature patriotic music performances, inspirational speeches, the distribution of small American Flags, and "Support Our Troops" posters and lawn signs.
Americans are asking what they can do to show their support for armed services members, especially those serving in this time of war. In Brooklyn, you can join Senator Golden and the community at a rally to extend our appreciation to all those men and women in uniform throughout the world who have performed their duties so nobably.
"It is important that we gather as a community in Brooklyn to show our support for the brave men and women of our armed forces fighting to defend our freedoms and protect us against terrorism in the future," said Senator Golden, "The sights and sounds of Anti-War protests are demoralizing to our troops and it’s time we stand up, wave our flag and send them a message of support and appreciation."
