Senator Nozzolio Announces Technology Job Fair
Rochester – Citing the critical importance to attract and retain more quality jobs to the community, New York State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio (R-Fayette) today announced that the High Tech Business Council is partnering with Digital Rochester to host a Technology Job Fair. The Technology Job Fair will be held on Thursday, March 2nd from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Eastview Mall in the BonTon Court Area.
“New York State has quickly become a national leader in high-tech and biotechnology research,” Senator Nozzolio said. “It is important that New York remain on the cutting edge of new technologies and industries. This job fair is an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates to meet with some of the best technology companies in the region.”
Senator Nozzolio secured $15,000 in state funds for the High Tech Business Council to be used to provide information and assistance to the public on the types of employment opportunities that exist in the field of high tech business. The job fair is open to public and provided at no cost to participants. No advanced registration is required.
Some of the companies participating in this event are: Auragen Communications, BlueTie, Ciber, D.O. Tech, Excellus Blue Cross/Blue Shield, EnergyEast, Frontier Communications, InSciTek Microsystems, Kriterium, LPA Systems, Languatek, Microwave Data Systems, Optimax Systems, PICS Telecom, Quantum Technology Associates, Real Time Enterprises, Robert Half Technology, TCN, The Rochester Group and United Systems.
“I was very pleased to secure a $15,000 state grant for the High Tech Business Council and encourage all those who are interested to attend. The upcoming Job Fair is an excellent way for individuals seeking employment to meet with representatives of some of the top high tech businesses in our area,” Senator Nozzolio concluded.
