News From The Senate Environmental Conservation Committee
On Tuesday, March 20th at 11 am in Hearing Room A in the Legislative Office Building, Albany the nomination of Assemblyman Alexander "Pete" Grannis for the Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Conservation will be considered by the Environmental Conservation Committee.
On April 5 at 10 am a public hearing will be held at the Cold Spring Harbor Library to comprehensively address the issue of Sewage Wastewater Management and Planning on Long Island. This hearing will focus on a wastewater management solution that protects valuable estuarine and ocean resources while putting the Region on a clear path to sustainable development.
Senator Marcellino is currently co-chairing the Joint Budget Conference Committee on Environment, Agriculture and Housing.
