Charles J. Fuschillo Jr.

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) and Assemblyman Tom McKevitt (17th Assembly District) recently welcomed Eric Seltzer, a fifth grade student at Saw Mill Road Elementary School in North Bellmore, to Albany, where his artwork was being displayed.

Senator Fuschillo and Assemblyman McKevitt joined Eric and his mother, Laurie, in viewing Eric’s project during its exhibit in the Legislative Office Building. Eric and his mom also got a private tour of the Senate Chambers from Senator Fuschillo and Assemblyman McKevitt.

Eric’s art was on display as part of the New York State Art Teachers Association’s annual Legislative Student Art Exhibition. Each spring, the Association arranges to have the work of aspiring young artists from across the state displayed in Albany, where it can be viewed by the public.

"Having your art displayed for thousands of people in Albany is an impressive honor, one of which Eric should be very proud," said Senator Fuschillo. "We were very happy that we could join with him to view his art while it was on display in the State Capitol."
