The one-year anniversary of the death of New York State Trooper Andrew Sperr reminds us that Trooper Sperr represented the highest ideals of our State Police. He gave his life protecting the safety and well-being of our communities.

The recollections of Trooper Sperr’s caring, commitment and ultimate bravery in the line of duty will endure as shining examples of the best of our society.
