Senator Reverend Ruben Diaz Glad To Welcome Senator Hillary Clinton To Hispanic Forum

New York State Senator Reverend Ruben Diaz (D-Bronx) is pleased that United States Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) will attend a Hispanic Forum on Friday, June 8, 2007 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Repertory Theatre at Hostos Community College, located at 450 Grand Concourse in The Bronx.

"I am delighted that Senator Hillary Clinton has accepted the invitation of Bronx County Chairman, Jose Rivera, to attend this forum on immigration and other issues affecting the Hispanic community," stated Senator Rev. Diaz. "By accepting this invitation, Senator Clinton is demonstrating her concern and respect for Hispanics and our issues."

The first session of the forum will include a presentation by policy experts on the Senate Immigration Bill, Voting Rights Reauthorization Act, and Urban Education for Latinos. The second session will include remarks by Senator Hillary Clinton followed by a questions and answer period by Senator Clinton.
