Senator Ruben Diaz And Assemblyman Ruben Diaz, Jr. Hosted The Three Kings Day Celebration At PS 5 In The Bronx.

On Saturday, January 6, 2007, SenatorRuben Diaz and Assemblyman Ruben Diaz, Jr. hosted the Three Kings Day Celebration at PS 5 in The Bronx. A tremendous turnout of more than 1,000 children and parents enjoyed Christmas music, played trivia games, and received gifts. Also joining the festivities were Assemblywoman Carmen Arroyo and Councilmember Maria Del Carmen Arroyo.

The gifts were generously donated by Affinity Health Plan and St. Barnabas Church. This year’s celebration had the added pleasure of welcoming members from the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in New York, who facilitated the donation of more than 600 backpacks filled with school supplies for school the children who attended in Three Kings Celebration.

"These types of cultural celebrations events allow families to gather and celebrate cultural pride with friends and neighbors, foster good relations, and strengthen ties within our community."
