Senator Morahan To Be Honored By NYSRA As 'Public Official Of The Year'

New York State Senator Thomas P. Morahan, Chairman of the Senate's Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities will be honored in Albany on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 by the New York State Rehabilitation Association (NYSRA), as "Public Official of the Year."

 

In a letter to the Senator, NYSRA President/CEO Jeff Wise noted that his organization's 100 member entities wanted to recognize Senator Morahan for his efforts on behalf of the 'community of people with disabilities.'

"We cannot overstate our tremendous appreciation for all you do on behalf of all New Yorkers, particularly those with special needs," said Wise.
