Senator Morahan To Meet With Attorney General On Mirant Plant

Senator Thomas P.Morahan recently met with Attorney General Andrew Cuomo to attempt to prevent the drastic impact of a scheduled shutdown of Mirant's Lovett power station.

Senator Morahan had called for the meeting to avert closing the plant, which would lead to the loss in millions in annual tax revenue for Rockland County, a loss of jobs, as well as an escalation of electric costs.
