Senator Morahan Secures Agreement From New State Veterans Chief

Each local county’s veterans agency will be given the opportunity to develop a cover letter to invite veterans to access benefits and entitlements. According to Colonel (Ret) McDonough, the informational package to Rockland and Orange veterans could be developed, prepared and mailed at state-expense to the homes of returning veterans by mid-January. The letter would encourage the veterans to contact their respective county agency and would provide ample contact information.
