Fun on The High Seas:

The outing marked the end of a successful Summer Youth Entrepreneurial Program in which these young people participated with local merchants.

The program, made possible with grant funding from Senator Montgomery, was organized by the Atlantic Avenue Betterment Association (AABA).

Among their summer-long experiences, young aspiring entrepreneurs learned about and practiced Batik at the Melting Pot, sampled Jamaican cuisine at the Brawta Caribbean Cafe, and also got an enterprising taste of New York agriculture from Farmers Market merchants.
