Senator Fuschillo & Mayor Altadonna Announce New Merrick Road Beautification Project In Massapequa Park

    State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) and Massapequa Park Mayor James Altadonna have announced a new community beautification project along Merrick Road between Whitewood Landing and Harbor Lane in Massapequa Park.

    The project, which will be financed through state funds secured by Senator Fuschillo, will install new lighting, brand new sidewalks, and decorative brick pavers along the south side of Merrick Road, and will match similar improvements that have already been made to north side of Merrick Road. This will beautify the area for local homeowners and will benefit small businesses by attracting more people to the shops and stores along Merrick Road.
