Senator Skelos Secures $10,000 For Village Of Lynbrook Anti-crime Unit
State Senate Majority Leader Dean G. Skelos (9th Senate District) recently announced that he has secured $10,000 in state funding for the Village of Lynbrook Anti-Crime Unit.
The funds will be allocated to costs associated with the Crime Prevention Program.
“Protecting our citizens is always a top priority,” said Senator Skelos. “By supporting the Crime Prevention Program and the Village of Lynbrook Anti-Crime Unit, we are taking a proactive approach at keeping our neighborhoods safe and ensuring that Lynbrook is a great place to live and raise a family.”
Detective Fredrick Fusswinkel of the Village of Lynbrook Police Department said, “We greatly appreciate this funding obtained by Senator Skelos to help us continue to provide active crime prevention to residents of Lynbrook.”
