Senator Skelos Secures $15,000 For Korean War Vets Monument In Lynbrook
State Senate Majority Leader Dean G. Skelos (9th Senate District) recently announced that he has secured $15,000 in state funding to finance the costs for a Korean War Veterans’ Monument in Lynbrook.
“It is so important to me to acknowledge our Veterans and their service to our country” Senator Skelos said. “I am looking forward to the construction of the Korean War Veterans’ Monument in Lynbrook and to continue to honor the commitment and dedication of our Long Island Veterans.”
Mayor of Lynbrook, Brian Curran said, “A cornerstone of our great nation is the valor, courage, and sacrifice of the millions of men and women who have served our country. Senator Skelos has been a steadfast advocate and ally of support for our veterans.
