Elmira, N.Y.-- State Senator George H. Winner, Jr. (R-C-I, Elmira) said today that he will continue to operate district offices in Elmira and Bath in 2008.

He encouraged area residents to utilize his offices for assistance with concerns and questions involving New York State government. He also noted that his newly redesigned Web site, www.senatorwinner.com, provides a range of legislative news, updates and other information.

"It's my responsibility to address concerns, answer questions and help facilitate access to state programs and services. No one should ever hesitate to contact me. I'm here to serve as this district's first contact with New York government," said Winner, whose 53rd District encompasses all of Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben and Yates counties, and a part of Tompkins County (the city and town of Ithaca, and the towns of Enfield, Newfield and Ulysses).
