SUNY Delhi President Candace S. Vancko stated, "Senator Bonacic has come through again for Upstate New York. SUNY Delhi is proud to partner with the Senator on this special project to provide badly needed child care services to the region. This new facility will be a tremendous asset for local businesses and SUNY Delhi in attracting young professionals and their families to the area."

According to President Vancko, SUNY Delhi's child care center in the only center in Delaware and Otsego Counties to earn accreditation from the prestigious National Association for the Education of Young Children. The current facility is only capable of providing care for 55 children and there is a long waiting list.

"The new facility will nearly double the center's capacity placing over 100 children in the care programs they need. I am committed to helping to ensure our community's needs are met," concluded Senator Bonacic.
