State Senator Liz Krueger Presents "Art Knows No Boundaries—Reaching Out To International Tourists"
Art Knows No Boundaries—Reaching Out to International Tourists is a two-part presentation. The first will feature members of governmental institutions including Empire State Development Corporation, NYC & Company, and NYS Council on the Arts. The second presentation will feature members of the arts community including the New York Philharmonic, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Repertorio Español. Each panel will discuss how to reach out to international tourists successfully and will be available for Q&A at the end of the presentation. Senator Krueger's goal in arranging the Forum is to have attendees benefit from hearing the innovative strategies used by other institutions and to become aware of relevant data in regard to the international market. The forum will also cover ways to appeal to local residents who are now taking staycations.
