Working Families Party leader warns of reward to renegade

A Working Families Party official has accused a renegade Democrat of "palling around with Republican terrorists."
She's also warned state Senate Democrats there will be "hell to pay" if Sen. Carl Kruger of Brooklyn is given a key committee chairmanship in exchange for his leadership vote.
Bertha Lewis, WFP co-chairwoman, said she's "incensed" by speculation that Kruger - ringleader of the "Gang of Three" lawmakers holding up selection of a new majority leader - would be made chairman of the Housing Committee in exchange for his support of Sen. Malcolm Smith as leader.
