Senator Golden Welcomes Return Of Ferry Service
SENATOR GOLDEN AT THE BROOKLYN ARMY TERMINAL AS FERRY SERVICE RETURNS
Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden (R-C, Brooklyn) was at the 58th
Street Pier at the Brooklyn Army Terminal this morning to greet passengers
and see the first ferry off as it set sail to Manhattan. The ferry
service, whose route begins in Rockaway, restores the service in Brooklyn,
and continues to lower Manhattan was announced last week. For further

Senator Marty Golden, in the wake of the attacks of September 11,
2001, worked with City officials and Community Board 10 to institute ferry
service at the Brooklyn Army Terminal. The service has continued to operate
with periods of interruption since that time.
