Celebrating GVSHP’s Grant From Preserve New York

Also on November 20, Senator Duane was pleased to join leaders of the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation (GVSHP) at a press conference announcing the organization’s receipt of a $13,000 grant from Preserve New York, a program of the Preservation League of New York State and the New York State Council on the Arts. This dedicated funding will allow GVSHP to complete research and documentation of the history of the area between 14th Street and Houston Street, Fourth Avenue/the Bowery and Avenue D in order to produce recommendations for landmark protections.
