SENATOR FUSCHILLO & LOCAL OFFICIALS VIEW NEW ISLAND HOSPITAL’S NEW, ULTRA-MODERN MRI TECHNOLOGY

Charles J. Fuschillo Jr.

State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) recently joined with State, County, and Town Officials at New Island Hospital to view the hospital’s new, ultra-modern MRI technology. The new technology will help the hospital provide patients with an even higher level of care.

According to New Island Hospital, the ultra-modern MRI utilizes the latest technology to provide superior quality images in a short scanning time. After a patient undergoes the MRI scan, they will immediately receive a CD of the scan to bring to their doctor. Physicians can also securely access films via the Internet and get a reading from a Board Certified attending radiologist almost instantaneously.
