SENATOR FUSCHILLO & PARK AVENUE STUDENTS “EXTEND THE HOLIDAYS” FOR CHILDREN IN WINTHROP HOSPITAL

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. today visited Park Avenue Elementary School in the North Bellmore School District to thank students for participating in his annual “Extend the Holidays” toy drive.

“Extend the Holidays” is an annual toy drive Senator Fuschillo organizes for the benefit of children in Winthrop Hospital’s Pediatric Ward. The toys collected by the Park Avenue students will be delivered to the hospital after the holiday season, so that children can experience the joys of receiving a holiday gift throughout the year.

“Students at Park Avenue School did a great job and should be very proud of their efforts. The many toys they collected will help bring smiles to the faces of children and their families who are going through tough times. I thank them for their assistance and congratulate them on a job well done,” said Senator Fuschillo.
