Glens Falls schools to study possible merger

GLENS FALLS - A study to determine if it is feasible for the city's two public school systems to merge could begin this summer.

Thomas McGowan, the superintendent of the Glens Falls City School District, said it's more practical for the study to occur over the summer than during the school year so that the consultants hired for the job have easier access to the schools.
