SENATOR FUSCHILLO WELCOMES ALL-STATE MUSICIAN FROM BALDWIN HIGH SCHOOL TO THE STATE CAPITOL

New York State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) recently welcomed All-State musician Ian Robinson of Baldwin to the State Capitol in Albany, where he performed as part of the New York State School Music Association’s (NYSSMA) annual “Music In Our Schools Month.” 

Ian, a senior at Baldwin High School, performed with the All-State Instrumental Jazz Ensemble in the Empire State Plaza for an audience of legislators, staff members, and Capitol visitors.  

“Ian was chosen for this prestigious ensemble out of thousands who auditioned from all across New York State.  Ian’s many hours of practice, dedication, and hard work has earned him a place among an elite group of his peers. He is a very talented student and a fine representative of the Baldwin community. It is my pleasure to congratulate him on earning this honor,” said Senator Fuschillo.
