Senator Hugh Farley Named a Guardian of Small Business
The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) today named State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R,C,I - Schenectady) a 2010 Guardian of Small Business for his consistent support on issues that affect small businesses.
"Senator Farley has long been one of the staunchest supporters and defenders of small business in the Legislature," said Mike Elmendorf, NFIB/New York State Director. "Senator Farley has consistently stood in opposition to job-killing tax and fee increases and has fought for policies to lower New York’s high cost of doing business. We are grateful for Senator Farley’s support, and we are proud to name him a ‘Guardian of Small Business," Elmendorf continued.
Senator Hugh Farley said, "I am honored to be named a "Guardian of Small Business" by the National Federation of Independent Business. We need to reduce taxes and the other burdens placed on our small business men and women. Government needs to get out of the way and let entrepreneurs do what they do best..grow! We rely on small businesses as the economic engine to keep New Yorkers working and raising their families here in New York State."
