Invasive species bill approved by state Legislature

Both state legislative houses approved legislation Tuesday that will ban the sale and possession of ecologically altering invasive species throughout New York.

The state Senate approved the legislation sponsored by state Sen. Elizabeth Little, R-Queensbury, shortly after the Assembly adopted its version.
