Husband of pregnant woman killed outside Queens apartment wants justice for his family

The heartbroken husband of a pregnant mother of four killed by a callous gunman sat down to an agonizing Thanksgiving dinner with one thing on his mind: justice.

“I’m devastated beyond words. I want justice for my wife and for our children,” Joseph Massey said a day after Brandee Massey was gunned down as she walked along the 15th-floor hallway to her Queens apartment building in LeFrak City.

The 27-year-old was six months pregnant.

Doctors delivered her baby, but the newborn girl died four hours later.

As Joseph and his children struggled with the unspeakable loss, officials advised they not stay in their apartment for a second day due to fears the shooter might return to the scene of the crime.

Investigators suspect that Brandee’s uncle, with whom she’d been recently feuding, may have pulled the trigger, Police Commissioner Bill Bratton said.
