Senator Hamilton calls for legislative modernizing to better serve constituents
(Brooklyn - March 18, 2013) Senator Hamilton urged reforms for the New York State Legislature in order to better meet the needs of constituents, writing in the Brooklyn Reader today. Senator Hamilton praised recent developments to incorporate technology into the legislature's day-to-day work and urged carrying that work forward. Senator Hamilton called for the legislature to use tools like tablet computing and mobile offices to reach out to constituents in the community writing, "District office staff are ready, willing, and able to get out into the field to serve constituents."
