Residents Rally to Voice Concerns Over Wind Turbine Project

BARKER - Hundreds of residents from Niagara and Orleans counties turned out to a Barker park Thursday evening to voice concerns over the proposed wind project in the towns of Somerset and Yates. Senator Ortt said he would continue to work with residents and officials from all levels of government to ensure there are adequate details about how a project of this scale will impact the communities. He also said citizens deserve to know about any potential risks to their health and our environment.
