O’Mara to area veterans: 'Operation: Start Up & Grow’ Business Conference on March 16th
Elmira, N.Y., March 8—State Senator Tom O’Mara (R,C,I-Big Flats) today reminded area veterans that the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) will sponsor a Veteran Business Conference in Syracuse on Wednesday, March 16 designed to assist veterans interested in starting or expanding their own small business.
The March 16th conference, the SBA’s 9th Annual “Operation: Start Up & Grow,” will be held at Onondaga Community College from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
“I appreciate the SBA reaching out to our veterans and members of the military community locally, statewide and across the nation in the ongoing effort to help more and more of our military men and women find the best way to contribute their commitment, experience, skills and unparalleled work ethic to build and strengthen local economies,” said O’Mara.
