Elected Leaders: Tough Choices Ahead for Niagara Falls

A draft audit suggests Niagara Falls has not changed its spending habits since an audit in 2013. WGRZ’s Erica Brecher asked Sen. Ortt his thoughts on the matter. Sen. Ortt said the city could be facing insolvency. He called on Gov. Cuomo to solve the dispute adding that making threats through the media is not the best way to solve the dispute. Sen. Ortt suggested budget cuts and tough choices would be necessary to avoid a budget gap of possibly $12 million in less than two years.
