Adams and state Sen. Gustavo Rivera, D-Bronx, said they support the passage of legislation of state Sen. Zellnor Myrie, D-Brooklyn, that would allow the state to potentially hold gun manufacturers accountable for shootings. The legislation was passed and signed into law last year by former Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo.
"New York has a law to hold gun manufacturers responsible," Myrie tweeted Friday night. "It’s time we use it."
