STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R – Staten Island/South Brooklyn) handed out Holtermann’s Charlotte Russe cakes on the steps of our nation’s Capitol building today, another step in the feud between Staten Islanders and ‘The View’ host Whoopi Goldberg.
On Friday, Borough President Vito Fossella, Sen. Jessica Scarcella-Spanton (D – North Shore/Brooklyn), Assemblyman Sam Pirozzolo (R – Mid-Island), Assemblyman Michael Tannousis (R – East Shore/Brooklyn), Assemblyman Michael Reilly (R – South Shore), Councilman David Carr (R – Mid-Island ), and representatives from Malliotakis’ office and Councilman Joe Borelli’s office (R – South Shore) stood alongside the Holtermann family in a show of support.
