
Staten Island blueprint for tackling mental health crisis among youth is unveiled

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — In an effort to tackle the mental health crisis among youth, a new first-of-its-kind blueprint has been unveiled to help identify and support Staten Island children and young adults.
Also at the announcement were: representatives from government health agencies; representatives from Staten Island’s state senators Jessica Scarcella-Spanton and Andrew Lanza; a representative from Richmond Country District Attorney Michael McMahon’s office; representatives from local hospitals and health-care providers, and representatives from community health organizations.
