State Sen. Samra Brouk Hosts Third Annual Community Baby Shower

Rochester, N.Y. — Over 30 organizations donated their time and resources on Sunday to help with the third annual Community Baby Shower.
The shower was hosted by state Sen. Samra Brouk, who distributed baby supplies to families in need.
Brouk said the idea is to support the Rochester area with the rising child care costs.
“Well, every year, we serve more and more people, which really does show you that the growing need does exist here,” said Brouk.
The event also included a panel of doulas who provided advice and answered questions about mental health care.
